

What is NAMI Joplin?
NAMI-Joplin is a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate programs that support and service individuals and family members impacted by anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, personality, mood and behavioral disorders, and schizophrenia.
Our services include support groups, education classes, a toll-free Peer Support Warm Line and other activities provided in order to help individuals work toward wellness and recovery. For information about all NAMI-Joplin services, you may contact 417-781-6264. Collectively, we are the area's voice for mental wellness.
NAMI-Joplin is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, located in Joplin, Missouri.

The Peer Support Warm Line is available Monday through Friday 9:30 am – 10:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 3:30 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

NAMI Basics
Free 3-day education program for parents or caregiver of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral difficulties. The program is taught by trained peer instructors who are also the parents or family caregivers of individuals who experienced emotional or behavioral difficulties prior to age 13.
